How much will my app cost?
Ten short questions, no technical knowledge needed – and you see straight away which price range your app falls into.

How big will your app be?
A screen is one view, e.g. the home screen, a list or a profile.

A rough count is enough. Small is, for example, a data-capture app or a digital checklist, medium a customer app with accounts and content, large a booking platform or a marketplace. Sign-in, settings and legal pages are included automatically.
Which devices should it run on?
We build iPhone and Android from one shared codebase.
Learn more
With Flutter, one codebase produces real apps for iPhone and Android. That is why the second platform costs very little extra, and a single platform saves very little. A web app also runs in the browser, for example on an office PC.
Do users need their own account?
Needed as soon as data belongs to a specific person.
Learn more
An account is needed when data belongs to a person or should be the same on several devices. Signing in with Apple or Google is more convenient for users. Signing in with the company account, such as Microsoft 365, is typical for internal apps.
Are there different user groups?
For example: staff record entries, the team lead approves them.
Learn more
Roles define who can see and change what. The more roles with their own rights, the more planning and testing is needed.
Where should the data live?
For most apps, a cloud service is the best choice.
Learn more
The backend is the invisible part behind the app: it stores data, manages accounts and keeps all devices in sync. Firebase (by Google) and Supabase are ready-made cloud services that we set up for you – fast, inexpensive to run and available with servers in the EU. Your own server pays off with a lot of custom business logic, many integrations or special data-protection requirements.
Do you want to manage content yourself?
Through a web interface – without a new app version.
Learn more
An admin area is a web interface for you and your team. You use it to change content, approve users or view reports without having to publish a new app version.
What should the app do?
Pick what matters for the first version. Much can be added later. Select any

It is often wiser to start with a few features and expand after the first feedback. Online payments means paying for goods, tickets or services; subscriptions and in-app purchases are for digital content – Apple and Google keep part of that revenue. Bluetooth and devices means connecting to sensors, scales, printers or your own hardware.
Which systems should it talk to?
Software you already use. None? Just continue. Select any
Learn more
Many apps pull data from software that is already in use, or send data to it. The effort depends mainly on whether the system has a well-documented interface. If you do not know, just select the system – we will check.
What should the app look like?
A clean design in your colours is enough for most apps.
Learn more
A clean design built from proven components looks modern and can use your logo and colours. A custom design with its own drafts pays off when the app is meant to be a strong brand experience.
Should we publish the app for you?
Store listings, privacy details and review by Apple and Google.
Learn more
For an app to appear in the App Store and on Google Play, it needs store listings with text and screenshots, privacy details and review by Apple and Google – including fixes if it is rejected. We offer this as a separate service. You can also submit the app yourself. Internal apps for your own team can be distributed privately so they cannot be found publicly.

How the price range is calculated
The calculator is based on prices from our projects: a lean first version with the core feature (MVP) costs €2,700 to €6,000, a business app with accounts, an admin area and a backend €7,000 to €13,000, and complex apps with payments, offline mode or many integrations start at around €20,000.
It starts with a base price for the size of the app and adds a range for each selection. The result is deliberately a range rather than a fixed figure: how much work a feature takes depends on details – such as how many fields a form has or how well an existing system's interface is documented. We clarify these details in a conversation, after which you receive a written quote with milestones.
Because we build with Flutter from one shared codebase for iPhone and Android, you do not pay for the app twice. If you want to dig deeper, our guide to turning an app idea into an app explains what a project involves, and our Flutter vs React Native comparison covers the technology choice.
Frequently asked questions about app costs
How accurate is the app cost calculator?
It shows a realistic range based on our projects, not a fixed price. The exact figure depends on details that can only be clarified in a conversation. After that you receive a written, non-binding quote – before the project starts, not afterwards.
What is included in the price?
Development of the app for iPhone and Android, the features you selected, testing on real devices and full rights to the source code. Publishing in the App Store and on Google Play is a separate service – you can add it in the calculator. Running costs such as servers, store fees and later extensions are not included.
What running costs come after launch?
Apple charges US$99 per year for the developer account, Google a one-off US$25. A backend service such as Firebase or Supabase usually costs €0 to €50 per month to start and grows with usage; your own server starts at around €100 per month. On top of that come updates so the app keeps working with new iOS and Android versions.
Can I start small and extend the app later?
Yes, and we usually recommend it. A first version with the core feature is finished sooner, costs less and shows early on what users really need. We then build further features on the same foundation.
Is my input stored?
No. The calculation runs entirely in your browser. We only receive your configuration by email if you send it yourself using the form.
