SSL or TLS encryption

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

4. Data collection on this website

Cookies and local storage

This website does not set any cookies of its own. Instead, for two purposes it uses your browser's so-called local storage: the entry „sbt-consent“ remembers your decision on the statistics consent, and the entry „sbt-a11y“ remembers whether you have switched on the accessible view. Both entries are technically necessary for the respective function (Section 25(2) TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act)), remain exclusively in your browser, and are not transmitted to us. They remain stored until you delete the website data in your browser.

Cookies are only set once you consent to audience measurement with Google Analytics (see the section „Analysis tools and advertising“). This processing takes place exclusively on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG); the consent can be revoked at any time.

You can change your decision at any time: the Cookie settings link in the footer reopens the notice. An overview of all entries with their purpose and storage duration can be found in our Cookie policy.

Server log files

The provider of our hosting (Cloudflare, see the section „Hosting“) automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser automatically transmits. These are:

This data is not merged with other data sources.

The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation, the security, and the optimization of its website – for this purpose, the server log files must be recorded.

Contact form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, we process the details you enter there (name, e-mail address, your message) as well as the language version and the page from which the inquiry was sent, for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The form does not store your details on the web server or in a database. They are delivered directly by e-mail to our business mailbox. For sending, we use the service Brevo, provided by Sendinblue GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany; processing takes place within the EU. Our e-mail mailbox is operated with Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). To protect against automated inquiries, we use Cloudflare Turnstile (see the section „Plugins and Tools“).

The processing of this data takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, insofar as your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), if this was requested; the consent can be revoked at any time.

The data you enter in the contact form will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your inquiry has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Data Processing Agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) with Brevo. This is a contract required by data protection law, which guarantees that the service processes the data from the contact form only according to our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

Inquiry by e-mail, telephone, or fax

If you contact us by e-mail, telephone, or fax, your inquiry including all resulting personal data (name, inquiry) will be stored and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

6(1)(a) GDPR) if this was requested; the consent can be revoked at any time.

The data sent by you to us via contact requests will remain with us until you request us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular statutory retention periods – remain unaffected.

5. Analysis tools and advertising

Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics

This website uses – exclusively after your consent – Google Tag Manager and the analytics service Google Analytics 4. The provider is Google Ireland Limited („Google“), Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

When you first visit the website, no analytics service is loaded. Only once you agree in the consent notice does Google Tag Manager load and integrate Google Analytics; we additionally transmit your decision via Google Consent Mode v2. If you decline or make no selection, no analysis takes place and no analytics cookies are set.

Google Analytics enables us to statistically evaluate visitor behavior (e.g., page views, time spent on the site, visitor origin) in order to improve our offering. According to Google, no IP addresses are logged or stored in Google Analytics 4.

The legal basis is exclusively your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG). You can revoke your consent at any time with a single click, using the Cookie settings link in the footer. Details on data processing by Google: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en

The company is certified under the „EU-US Data Privacy Framework“ (DPF). The DPF is an agreement between the European Union and the USA intended to ensure compliance with European data protection standards for data processing in the USA. Every company certified under the DPF undertakes to comply with these data protection standards. Further information: https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/

Data Processing Agreement

We have concluded a data processing agreement (DPA) for the use of the above-mentioned service. This is a contract required by data protection law, which guarantees that the provider processes the personal data of our website visitors only according to our instructions and in compliance with the GDPR.

6. Plugins and Tools

Cloudflare Turnstile

To protect our contact form against spam and automated inquiries, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. The provider is Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA.

Turnstile uses technical signals from your browser (including your IP address and device characteristics) to check whether an entry originates from a human or from an automated program – generally without requiring you to solve a task. The service is only loaded on pages that contain a contact form. The data collected in this process is transmitted to Cloudflare; according to Cloudflare, no tracking for advertising purposes takes place.

The processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in protecting its web offering against abusive automated use and against spam. For Cloudflare's DPF certification, see the section „Hosting“. Further information: https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/

Google Calendar (appointment booking)

On our appointment-booking page, we embed the appointment-booking tool from Google Calendar via an iframe. The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

When you open this subpage, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google's servers; in doing so, Google receives your IP address. If you book an appointment, Google additionally processes the data you enter. The integration affects only this one subpage, which you visit specifically to book an appointment.

The processing takes place on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (arranging an appointment at your request) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a simple appointment-booking process). For Google's DPF certification, see above. Details: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en
